Lubrizol Job Vacancy For Chemical Engineer- Process Engineer

Position: Process Engineer – CaCl2

Location: Dahej / Vilayat

Reports to: Site Head, Dahej Site

Division: Lubrizol Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd.

Summary of the Role:

Lead on process engineering, technology transfer in Greenfield Project management within or outside Dahej CPVC facility in Lubrizol India

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Key role in technology transfer from technology supplier including process engineering

Participate in Green field project starting from basic engineering till commissioning

Lead & co-ordinate for Design Basis & Calculations, Process Description, Control Scheme- interlocks and their valve matrix

PID and PFD review and comments as per plant requirement if any

Work on basic and detail engineering of the process in consultation with technology supplier/engineering consultant

Verification of Heat and mass balance details for the project

Ensure process guaranties are in place from vendors and suppliers

Participate and monitoring in plant construction and erection activities

Develop and lead plant pre commissioning and commissioning strategy and ensure timely completion of the same

Handing over taking over plant from technology suppliers/ vendors while making sure supplies are as per defined quality and timelines

Work hand in hand with Operations during pre-commissioning and commissioning phase and smooth start up and commercial run proving design capacity and final product specification

Lead process improvements and continuous improvement projects once plant is operational

Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):

Education / Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university with minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in process technology and project management.

Experience and Skills:

3 to 5 years of experience in chemical/polymer plant operations in Process Engineering and technology transfer

Sound understanding of chemical engineering principles and application

Hands on Experience of working in Chemical plant Project is MUST

Knowledge on MS Project is added advantage
