Job Responsibilities :

Lead, Guide, Support & Drive the Technical Services & QC functions for the Marketing Group.

Support Industrial Marketing, LPG & Aviation Business on any technical assistance required.

1.Support QC activities at the Marketing Terminals:

a) Guide the terminal staff on the QC practices followed at terminals.

b) Support on QC issues in receipt and transfer of products at/from terminals.

2.Technical & QC Support to the Retail group (JBML)

a) Support the Fuel Services team in the QC activities at Retail Outlets of JBML.

b) Support the JBML Retail Marketing team on fuel additisation activities.

c) Support on engine & field trials to be carried out on additives along with BP#s R & D centre.

d) Advise on Biofuels blending and related regulatory issues.

e) Technical & Regulatory support to CEO JBML.

3.Support Marketing group on Biofuel blending activities

a) Should be conversant with the Bio related regulations and the QC practices.

b) Should guide the businesses and the terminal staff on blending of ethanol E-10 (E-12 & E-15 in future) & Bio Diesel (B-5)

4. Regulatory & External. Evaluating of R

& D#s proposals and support.

a) Should have good contacts with

OMC#s and keep appraised of

developments taking place on fuel

quality and such issues.

b) Should be conversant with IQCM,

MDG, MS-HSD control order, Biofuel

policy etc.

c) Should have good knowledge of

regulatory issues pertaining to Biofuels.

d) Should be able to evaluate business

proposals received from R & D or any

other groups. Support R & D on

development of new products

5. Represent RIL at BIS forums

a) Represent RIL at BIS in various

committees and sub-committees

pertaining to R&M business.

b) Put forth the views of the

organisation effectively in consultation

the Refinery team.

c) Build up opinion, for issues of mutual

interest, along with Oil companies.

6. Liaison with Refinery on QC issues at

Retail Outlets & Terminals

a) Maintain good rapport with Refinery

staff (especially MOPS team) in

resolving any issues pertaining to

product quality at terminals or Retail

Education Requirement:

Graduate or Post Graduate in Chemical Engineering

Experience Requirement:

About 15-20 years# experience in Refinery CTS, MOPS, Marketing Technical Services (Oil company), Industrial Marketing or Lube Technical Services. A combination of these will also be considered

benefits. Passion for Technical, QC, Development & Regulatory issues.
