Job Responsibilities :

Review of Technical documents, preparation of SoW

# Evaluation of EOI#s and Bids and prepare comparative statements

# Supervise manufacturing / assembly / fabrication and construction activities in fabrication yards / floating structures / fixed platforms

# Supervise installation, testing & pre-commissioning

Job accountabilities as listed above shall pertain to at least one of the following areas # Subsea XMT

Mechanical # FPSO / Offshore platform

Subsea Installation

Flow Assurance 

Sr. Engineer Mechanical Projects shall be responsible for project engineering, procurement and construction stage activities.

Job Accountabilities

Preparation of engineering deliverables such as SOW’s, MR’s, MTO’s

Coordination of material procurement activities including SAP based material management throughout the complete procurement cycle from MTO/RFP to material reconciliation

Expediting vendors during manufacturing stage including vendor document review and visiting vendor shops

Review of engineering specification

Interdisciplinary checks and coordination

EOI evaluation and preparation of vendor list

Preparation and review of Stock Code, SAP code, budget estimate, PR, TBE, TR,

Construction support, resolution of construction queries, field engineering and closure of audit points

.

Preparation of construction SOW, BOQ, Man-hours estimation.

Coordination of change orders submitted by contractors

 

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

 Candidate should have exposure to Oil and Gas field

 Candidate should be familiar with DGMS, OISD, OMR requirements applicable to the CBM field developments

 Knowledge of relevant ASME, ASTM, API codes and standards

Knowledge of SAP system for preparation of PRs, code generation, etc

Change order management experience

 

Should be a good team player

 Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

B.E / B.Tech Mechanical

Candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience of project engineering and execution in oil and gas industry

Experience in preparation of SOW and deliverable list for DEC, construction SOW, BOQ, etc

Experience in review and approval of engineering deliverables generated by the DEC, vendor documents, model reviews, etc.

Experience in expediting and control of PR, PO delivery, shortfall and surplus, material substitution, etc.

Experience in field engineering, support to construction and O&M

 

Education Requirement :

· Bachelor degree or higher qualification, as listed below, from a recognised university -

Subsea XMT # Mechanical / Petroleum / Chemical engineering

FPSO / Offshore platform # Mechanical engineering

Subsea Installation  # Mechanical / chemical engineering

Flow assurance # Chemical / Petroleum engineering

Experience Requirement :

·  Minimum 6 years# experience in upstream oil & gas business

 Skills & Competencies :

Knowledge in the relevant area of job responsibility

Familiarity with applicable Codes and Standards (Indian and International)

Working knowledge of reliability, availability, failure analysis, HSE requirements, metallurgy requirements
