Duties/Responsibilities:

Makes and packages batch chemicals for lubricant and personal care industry.

Loads/unloads bulk chemical trucks.

Reads, understands and follows batch sheets and SOP’s.

Communicates information to/from team members during the shift and at the beginning and end of each shift.

Works safely and follow ssafety policies.

Writes work orders for repairs or suggested improvements.

Help ssupervision/management troubleshoot process problems.

Enters production data into computer system (SAP)

Completes shift log and other check sheets requested by supervisor.

Participates in on-the-job training program as trainer and trainee.

 

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited source

Five (5) years manufacturing experience preferres

Good interpersonal skills.

Ability to perform math necessary to scale batches and convert inches in a tank to pounds, to gallons of material.

Can understand and use percentages and fractions.

Ability to troubleshoot equipment and solve technical problems.

Ability to learn and use SAP, Microsoft Excel and Word.

Must be willing to work rotating shifts.

 

Physical Requirements:

Capable of climbing stairs.

Must be able to lift and dump 50 lb bags into reactor opening.

Must be able to wear all required PPE including occasional use of full face respirator.

Lift 55 lbs up to 20 times per shift

Fine Manipulation of hands/fingers

Repetitive use of hands/arms

Kneeling 5%

Bending 5%
