Description: 

The role is as a Section Head Industry 4.0, will be responsible for following roles & responsibilities:

Working effectively with domestic & global UPL factories on architecting, developing, deploying and maintaining Industrial IoT applications in the factories.

To understand the manufacturing processes, Business objectives , Operational hurdles, Study problem statements of different factories, map technologies to the problem statements.

Frame strategies and prepare Plan for Implementation of Industry 4.0

To provide an ecosystem with Industry 4.0 initiatives based on latest available technology which supports the existing digitalized manufacturing processes to improve quality and productivity

And identify areas to apply technology to improve productivity, yield, quality etc.

Hands on experience in Industrial & IIoT communication protocols - BLE, Cellular, LTE, MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Devicenet, etc.

Validate proposed Future State Architecture using Proof-of-Concepts and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) approaches. 

Providing OT network infrastructure to connect all individual PLCs and DCS systems of plant

Good knowledge of Cloud instance, Historian Database, OPC Servers, Protocol converters and Managed layer2/layer3 switches

Implement Industry 4.0 applications as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Statistical Process Control (SPC) & Line Integration including Line loss capture and mapping line stoppages with failure codes, machine availability, wastage capture, BLE based Manpower Optimization System, Condition monitoring.

To prepare and finalize scope, project timeline, effort estimates for Industry 4.0 Capex and Co-ordinate with businesses/units to ensure timely completion of projects POC, Roll out and Standardization.

Planning Capital Expenditure and monitoring progress of budgeted jobs, for non-recurring, capital and repairs & maintenance expenditure

Integration of ERP, MES, DCS / PLC control systems, various production equipment and applications

Program PLC to interface with SCADA or Kepware

Experience in track and trace application is an added advantage.

Knowledge of Scanner, Vision system & QR code printing technology.

Exposure to Cloud-based (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, etc.) Architecture
