inherent Engineering was established in 2019 with an objective to provide Cost effective Engineering services for process Industries across Global customers. To meet growing demand for high quality integrated engineering services in process industries, the company has diversified its business portfolio from the core expertise of Upstream Oil and Gas into Downstream refineries, fine chemicals and FMCG Industries. Currently we are engaged with multiple domestic and international projects (FPSO Offshore) in various industrial sectors.

As part of expansion, we intend to recruit the following position for our Chennai based office.

Position: Process Engineer

Academic Qualification:

Chemical/ Petroleum Engineering Graduate

Technical Qualification:

Min 5 Years of Experience gained from a reputed

Engineering consultancy or EPC organisation.

Hands-on exp in preparing Basic Engineering Packages, FEED and detail Engineering. Experience in Upstream Oil and Gas. Offshore experience is Preferred.

Technical Writing: Ability to draft technical reports

Prepare Process Design Basis, PFD, Heat and mass balance sheet, PID, Cause and effect diagrams, Hydraulic Calculations, Pump Calculations, Operating and control philosophy, Control narratives, Line List, process simulation, Fluid class list, Equipment List, Utility Calculations, and equipment sizing Calculations. Pre/Post award Vendor Technical Clarifications, Vendor documents reviews, Scribing the safety workshops, loss & prevention activities, developing the process safety deliverables etc.

Process Design Calculations meeting the design requirements and compliance to HSE

Identify Design Change and communicate to the engineering manager/Project Team Proactive approach and Willing to take responsibility

Flexibility for site assignments & deputations
