Job Responsibility

Establish and maintain best HSSE practices. Responsible for implementing companies overall HSSE Commitment / HSE policy. Prevent accidents and incidents, which are having potential risk to the business. Create Health, Safety, Security and Environment consciousness among all personnel.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Undertake monthly mock fire drills and share / discuss the shortcomings to avoid its recurrence in future

  • Organize monthly safety committee meetings, Monitor HSSE performance by monthly MIS

  • Organize annual safety audit of terminal as per check list and take corrective actions. Review, implement and share the learning.

  • Co-ordinate with local OMCs/fire services other nearby Industries and update Mutual Aid Scheme.

  • Update the Onsite Emergency Plan in consultation with Terminal Manager from time to time and conduct minimum one drill in a year.

  • Conduct safety promotional activities and training programs at the terminal as per Programme given by HSSE, HO involving active participation of all staff /contractor workmen/tank-truck crew.

  • Improvement in existing HSSE system through Auditing # Plan undertake Internal Audit , MSW,OISD,FSM

  • Review Fire order ,OSEP,HSSE Case in line with current safe practices.

  • Motivated employee to comply HSSE activities

  • Timely releasing circular  for various motivational activities

  • Publishing HSSE communications viz. HSSE newsletters, what went wrong, alert notes etc

  • Ensure training of all employees as per training competency profile matrix

  • Ensure training of all Operating Staff in HSSE from basics to advance awareness

  • Ensure toolbox talks to TT crew and other contract staff

Education Requirement : Graduate Engineer (Any Discipline) with Diploma in Safety

Experience :Minimum 2-3 years safety experience in Refinery/ RRTF/ Plant
