Qualifications and Education Requirements :

BE - Chemical Engineering with experience 2 to 5 yrs in operations/ Production, preferably in Soda Ash / Chlor Caustic area.

Location: Mithapur Gujarat

Role and Responsibilities

Handle the plant operations with efficiency & ensuring safety aspects.

To supervise all the parameters of the plant from the panel & log sheets to run the plant smoothly & to supervise the work of down the level staff.

To prepare report of the shift & to report it to concerned authority.

To ensure availability of the machine (Equipment to run the plant smoothly).

To run all equipments by optimum requirement.

To ensure quality of the product.

To check workforce availability in all points to optimize overtime & overburden.

To study the operational report.

To concentrate on breakdown of the machine/leakages in pipes /pumps.

To take the round of each floors of the plant & to visualize the condition of the machine/ pumps/ pipelines/ support & floor condition.

Guideline to operator/workers to improve continuously the quality of the product.

Malfunctioning & maintenance of the equipments when required.

Coordinating with other departments (like Mechanical, Electrical, instrument, Power plant, Water softening, Civil etc.) for the jobs related with process, maintenance etc for smooth operation of plant.

Checking that actions suggested for handling non confirmation have been effectively taken.

To develop safety awareness amongst employees including contractors.

To ensure health and safety of employees at workplace.

To prepare shift data report the log the same in ISO format.

Should be able to take Ownership / Leadership.

Should have good interpersonal Effectiveness.

Should be able to withstand pressure.

Computer & SAP Literacy is desirable.

Requires co-ordination of multiple jobs at a time.
