Position : Plant Team Leader-OFC Production

Reporting to : Sr. Manager OFC Production

Entity : Evonik Catalysts India

Location : Dombivli

Education, Certification and/ or relevant experience required: -

Bachelor’s in chemical engineering with at least five years of work experience in handling production activity.

Key Responsibilities:

Production KPI’S: -

Co-ordinate with reporting manager for production planning and routine activities. Responsible for Coordination between production, QC, Stores and Dispatch department for smooth dispatch.

Maintain documentation for all phases of production activities as per ISO standards.

Optimizing the production output utilizing the existing manpower. Arrange TBT (Toolbox talk) to discuss the issue that hampers the production output.

Update and maintain operating procedures, work instructions, P& ID’S.


Maintenance KPI’S: -

Responsible to strictly follow preventive maintenance schedule & co-ordinate with maintenance department in case of breakdown.

Strictly follow permit to work system, also ensure they are actively closed after completion of work.

Active participation in monthly Production maintenance coordination meeting.


EHSQ KPI’S: -

Responsible to verify & cross check whether all workers are working with safety & PPE. Prepare job safety analysis study for all production activities.

Active participation HAZOP study.

Report Unsafe act, unsafe condition, near miss in ESTER portal.

Perform Internal ISO audits at definite interval.

Ensure all production activities are perform adhering EMS (Environmental management system standards).


Training KPI’S: -

Prepare Skill matrix and training calendar for the workforce.

Skill development of existing manpower by conducting shop floor training. Perform training documentation and evaluation.


Quality KPI’S: -

Report and rectify the issues that hamper the quality output.

Avail equipment and instruments for calibration purpose to the engineering team.

Ensure product quality meets the standard requirement.


Technical Knowledge: -

Knowledge of handling PLC/ SCADA system, Familiar with ISO documentation. Expertise in adapting chemical engineering principles.
