Position: Lead Engineer Mechanical Equipments CBM

Function/ Business Area : Exploration & Production

Location : Shahdol

Education Requirement :

Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Mechanical / Production Engineering

Experience Requirement :

10 - 12 years experience required in mechanical maintenance with major oil & gas production project as a Lead.

Job Responsibilities :

Manage Mechanical maintenance functions and associated activities

Closely monitor all the equipment installed at various sites and carry out maintenance jobs as per preventive maintenance schedules

Lead and supervise a team of maintenance engineers and contractors ensuring maintenance procedures are implemented and followed as per statutory and company requirement

Analyse and evaluate engineering and design changes, process enhancement and modifications to advise on the engineering impact of these changes, determine operability and ensure appropriate maintenance procedures can be applied

Ensure all the spare parts, tools needed for planned and emergency maintenance are ordered through purchase requisition

Identify potential hazards and participate in Job safety analysis for all the high risk activities related to regular maintenance, planned shutdown and emergency maintenance. Conduct tool box talk, be a role model for implementation of work permit system for all the jobs

Preparation of SOP, SMP for all jobs and close monitoring for implementation

Prepare Maintenance Schedule for daily, monthly, quarterly etc. as per vendor specification and record history of the equipment so as to monitor health of the equipment

Preparation of SOW/tender documents for all the maintenance/ AMC jobs and services and technical evaluation of vendors as per company policy and procedures

Preparation of maintenance budget and timely submission for approval

Monitoring and measuring maintenance performance to meet and maintain environmental regulations and requirements

Carry out site maintenance and safety audits and provide feedback to management

Ensure process and utility is maintained in a manner that minimises spurious trips and shut downs

Interface with contractors and third parties

Assist maintenance head for budget preparation and cost reduction by best utilization of resources and services

Supervise workshop and fabrication activities for site facility

Skills & Competencies :

Knowledge of API, ASTM and OISD standards, NDT applicable to Oil and gas industry.

Knowledge of industry codes and practices, applicable legislation and international standards.

Good team player and stakeholder management skills
