Position: Lead Engineer - P&M Bus O&M JMD - P&M JMD

B.E Mechanical Engineering

Experience Requirement :

Necessary

12 to 15 years of experience in Operations and Maintenance of Construction Equipment.

Desirable

Work Experience in large Construction /Contracting Companies in the same capacity, preferably in the Oil & Gas and heavy industry/ basic industry sectors

Job Responsibilities :

Responsible for the reduction in Life Cycle Cost of equipment.

Responsible for the efficient Operation & Maintenance of equipment fleet.

Prepare budget for equipment for the financial year.

Prepare relevant documents required for the O&M of equipment.

Monitoring & controlling the spare parts consumption & ensure the total maintenance cost is within the budget.

Managing all team members and guiding for day to day activities.

Conduct technical training to O&M agencies crew & equipment users.

Validation of O&M crew.

Responsible for the spare parts planning.

Co-ordinate with purchase department for spare parts & lubricants requirements.

Co-ordinate with the users to resolve any operation and maintenance related issues.

Adopt and implement the best practices during P &M Operations.

Adhere to all Safety Procedures during P&M Operations.

Responsible for preparing, documenting MIS reports for all P & M equipment.

Other duties as assigned

Technical Skills –

1. Sound Technical Knowledge of Crawler Cranes up to 1250 T Capacity with respect to Maintenance Practices.

2. Ability to select the suitable cranes with desired configurations for execution of jobs including heavy lift Cranes.

3. Ability to maintain the Life Cycle cost (Operation & Maintenance) of the Cranes within the Budget with proper inventory management.

4. In-depth understanding of Safety Gadgets installed for ensuring Safe Operation of Cranes.

5. Ability to carry out in-depth Technical Evaluation of different Cranes for procurement.

Target Company/ Industries –

Large Construction Companies / Crane Hiring Companies and having work experience on Medium & Heavy Lift Cranes deployed in Refineries /Petrochemicals/Fertilizers/ Power Plants /Steel Plants, etc.
