Role - R&D Leader

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated R&D leader with expertise in Medical Device development. The candidate should possess more than 15 years of relevant experience.

The candidate should hold a Masters or Doctorate degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering) and should have more than 5 years of experience in people management. Knowledge of manufacturing, quality management systems, medical device regulatory requirements and application of risk management for Medical Devices are highly desirable.

Candidates would be responsible for the following tasks:

• Lead and contribute to the lifecycle of new product development from conceptualisation to market launch.

• Enhance technology capabilities within existing product portfolio to maintain edge in the market

• Work with external forums, conferences and other platforms to represent the company and build strong networks

• Develop R&D infrastructure within the organization through strategic investments.

• Foster a culture of innovation within the R&D team

• Actively participate in research, design and developmental activities

• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems throughout the product development lifecycle

• Apply robust risk management methodologies to identify and mitigate potential issues in product development, staying informed and ensure adherence to product-related regulatory requirement.
