Qualification: Postgraduate/MBA

Position: Senior Executive- Strategic Sourcing

Experience: 3-5 years

Location: Gurugram

Skills & Responsibilities

• Develop long term relationships with domestic and international suppliers and ensure availability of raw materials and packaging to be sourced at competitive rates

• Maintain relationships at various levels in the supplier organization to gather market intelligence

• Coordinate with external agencies related to Sourcing

• Interact closely with the plant for scheduling movement of raw materials and packaging from the vendor

• Maintain touch with key suppliers and service providers

• Develop understanding of global demand and supply dynamics for the products being purchased

• Identify and develop alternatives for the sourced items

• Negotiate prices keeping in mind the market scenario, company budget and strategic needs of the business and customers

• Facilitate vendor evaluation wherever applicable

• Review speedy resolution of complaints in supplies

Assist vendors in establishing systems and processes for getting the desired level of service

• Develop new supplier/vendor as per the specification of raw materials according to the SOPs
