Position Title: Section Head -Mechanical

Qualification: B.E Mechanical

Designation: Manager

Experience: 11 to 15 Years

Location: Vilayat, Bharuch (Gujarat)

Job Description:

1. Project & Plant Maintenance: 

• Candidate to be Responsible for right interface engineering and siteexecution support of project • Play Key role in detail engineering work, collaborating with different departments within Grasim for efficient and on time inputs, participate in review of plot plan and equipment layouts, E & I layouts, HAZOP, 3D model reviews, Safety reviews and provide right inputs and requirements. 3. Coordinate with Lubrizol/engineering company and Site construction team and ensure right construction and installation work on site including site inspection, validation of test reports, quality reports, work acceptance, work front allocation to other disciplines, managing site progress as per schedule.

2. Planning & Budgeting: 

• Compare maintenance expenses on monthly basis and compare actual expenses against budget and take action to reduce variants 

• Suggest and implement measures in design modification for cost reduction 3. Carry out half yearly analysis for the consumption of spares and make action plan for optimized consumption 4. Manage the inventory at an optimized level to minimize the working capital while ensuring the plant requirements and risks are addressed.

3. MIS Reports and Documentation: Timely preparation of MIS report and all relevant documents.

4. System Management (Safety, Sustainability & ISO): 1. Direct and monitor to ensure adherence of statutory compliance related to Safety, Health and Environment & Sustainability. 2. Collaborate with Lubrizol, Site construction team for right HSES and construction work practices and methodologies are established on site for project execution incorporating Grasim requirement of Safety, Statutory and work permitting. 3. Collaborate with Operation team of Grasim (Production, Quality, HSES, Maintenance) for efficient plant commissioning following Lubrizol/Grasim standard and industry best practices.
