Position: Department Head – Central Procurement Cell

Function: Sourcing & Procurement

Department: Materials

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement, warehousing, and logistics operations for the Viscose Filament Yarn (VFY) business.

• Ensure timely availability of raw materials, chemicals, packaging, and critical spares.

• Manage procurement aligned with production needs and inventory planning through regular reviews.

• Negotiate annual transport contracts for imports and exports.

• Develop alternate sources and a domestic vendor base for critical and single-source items.

• Monitor key market variables like crude, derivatives (EO, HDPE, PP), and diesel prices.

• Ensure vendor compliance with statutory norms (GST, PF, ESIC) and procurement frameworks.

• Drive cost optimization and strategic sourcing while aligning with ISO standards.

Education & Experience:

Qualification:

• B.E / B.Tech – Chemicals

• M.E / M.Tech – Chemicals

Experience: 13 – 18 years

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
