Job Purpose: Manage shift operations for plant production, ensuring smooth functioning across productivity, quality, safety, and manpower.
Key Responsibilities:
Shift Operations Management
- Supervise and coordinate all production activities during the shift
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and targets
- Monitor process parameters and take corrective actions
Safety
- Enforce safety protocols and system compliance
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments
Manpower Management
- Allocate manpower and supervise shift activities
- Address employee issues and provide necessary training
Quality
- Conduct in-process quality checks
- Ensure product quality and specification compliance
Continuous Improvement
- Identify areas for process and efficiency improvement
- Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate production records
- Prepare shift reports and coordinate with other shifts
Coordination
- Liaise with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams
- Ensure smooth shift handovers
Compliance
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Ensure environmental and safety regulation compliance
Candidate Requirements:
- Preference given to candidates from the chemical industry
- Must bring updated resume, passport-size photograph, and relevant documents
