Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage cost-effective, large-scale inbound logistics, warehousing, rail transportation, contract negotiation, and coordination across 8 units for seamless operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize logistics costs via bulk movements, cost-based models, mode shifts, and vehicle tracking.
- Lead negotiations, reverse auctions, and RFQs.
- Strategize distribution based on customer locations and transport facilities.
- Oversee warehouse selection, operations, and secondary transport with full compliance.
- Manage rail transport, ensuring timely indents and order completion.
- Ensure legal and statutory compliance.
- Standardize SOPs and drive customer satisfaction through SLA adherence.
- Conduct reviews on SLAs, safety, cost, and support MIS/dashboard preparation for continuous improvement.
