ANALYTICAL RESEARCH DIVISION, API-R&D CENTRE, BANGALORE

Work Location: API R&D Centre Bangalore

Positions: Research associate/Executive (Peptide-Analytical)

Qualification: M.Sc./M. Pharma/ Ph.D. (Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry)

Experience: 7+ Years experience in Peptide Or Protein Purification

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform Purification of Peptides, Ranging from Milligram to Gram Scale, Using preparative High-Performance Liquid Chromatography(HPLC) and other Chromatography Techniques (e.g. MPLC, flash chromatography).

• Design, develop and optimize purification methods to achieve high purity and yield of complex peptides. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in purification workflows.

• Analyse peptide purity and identity using analytical techniques such as Analytical HPLC, LC-MS, UV/V is spectroscopy and others (e.g., SDS PAGE). Operate and maintain purification and analytical equipment, including HPLC systems, peptide synthesizers, lyophilizers and centrifuges.

• Familiarity with software for instrument control and data analysis (e.g., Empower, Lab solution, Purity chrome and easy chrome software for purification systems).

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of experimental procedures, results and findings in a lab notebook and technical reports. Prepare regular updates and presentations for the team and Management.

• Contribute to the continues improvement of purification processes and introduce new technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Adhere to all Safety Protocols, regulatory guidelines (e.g. GLP, GMP) and standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
