Abbott Algeria is offering an exciting, experienced-level opportunity for a highly motivated Pharmacist or Biologist to join our Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) team in Algiers as a Regulatory Affairs Coordinator (External Contract).

Department: Regulatory Affairs – Established Pharmaceuticals Division

Role: Regulatory Affairs Coordinator (External Contract)

Experience: Prior experience in regulatory submissions highly desirable

Qualification: Pharmacist (Docteur en Pharmacie) or Biologist

Skills/Qualifications

  • Degree in Pharmacy or Biology (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of Algerian regulatory guidelines and submission processes
  • Excellent command of French (written & spoken); English is a strong asset
  • Proven ability to prepare high-quality regulatory dossiers
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent planning and time-management abilities
  • Familiarity with promotional material review and approval
  • Commitment to ethics, compliance, and Abbott’s corporate values

Key Responsibilities

  • The Regulatory Affairs Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth product lifecycle management and compliance:
  • Submission Management: Prepare and submit dossiers for new product registrations, renewals, and variations.
  • Strategy Development: Develop short-, medium-, and long-term regulatory strategies in coordination with business teams.
  • Compliance: Ensure full compliance with local SOPs and maintain effective communication with health authorities.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with logistics on sample delivery timelines and with Global Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs (GPRA) on submissions.
  • Review: Review and approve promotional materials with marketing & medical teams.
