Hikal Hiring For API Sales & Business Development Roles
Hikal Limited is aggressively expanding its global presence and is looking for a seasoned professional to lead our Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) sales and business development efforts across Latin America. This is a high-impact, senior-level role (Sr Manager/AGM) for individuals with a proven track record in the LATAM pharma market.
Role Overview: This position is focused on building and expanding Hikal’s API business across major LATAM markets, including Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, and Chile. The successful candidate will drive new business opportunities, manage key clients, ensure regulatory compliance, and achieve ambitious annual sales goals.

Qualifications & Experience Required
Educational Requirements
- B.Sc in Life Sciences, M.Sc in Chemistry/Life Sciences, or B.Pharm.
- A Full-time MBA is preferred for this managerial role.
Experience and Skills
- Minimum 10 years of dedicated API Sales and Business Development experience.
- Proven track record of successfully handling major LATAM markets.
- Extensive international travel exposure across Latin America is essential.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, intermediates, formulation processes, and DMF filing procedures.
- Familiarity with LATAM regulatory bodies (ANVISA, COFEPRIS, INVIMA, DIGEMID).
- Strong negotiation and data analysis skills.
Language Skills
Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a significant advantage and highly preferred for conducting meetings and negotiations.
