Indo Rama Job Opening In CP Process & SSP Operations
Indo Rama is seeking a seasoned professional to lead operations for its Continuous Polymerization (CP) and Solid State Polymerization (SSP) units. This is a strategic leadership role focused on production excellence, process optimization, and team development in a high-performance manufacturing environment.
Position: Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager (AGM) – CP Process & SSP Operations
Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra.
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field (mandatory)
- Master’s in Engineering or MBA (preferred)
- 14–20 years in continuous process industry
- Proven expertise in CP and SSP plant operations
- Minimum 5 years in senior plant leadership role
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Production Management
- Oversee end-to-end CP and SSP production processes
- Develop and execute production schedules, monitor KPIs, and implement corrective actions
- Troubleshoot complex process issues and minimize downtime
- Ensure shift-wise task prioritization and quality completion
Process Optimization & Engineering
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives
- Apply SPC and monitor process metrics
- Lead RCA and CAPA for deviations and failures
- Upgrade technical capabilities across people, process, and technology
Quality Assurance & Control
- Collaborate with QC to meet product specifications (e.g., IV, COOH levels)
- Maintain in-process quality checkpoints across CP and SSP lines
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor engineers, operators, and process staff
- Set performance goals and manage evaluations
- Promote EHS compliance and safety culture
Project & Financial Management
- Support CapEx planning for equipment and facility upgrades
- Monitor operational budgets and control costs
- Coordinate with R&D and engineering for product/process enhancements
Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of polyester manufacturing chemistry and mechanics
- Proficiency in DCS/PLC systems (Yokogawa DCS preferred)
- Strong grasp of Lean, Six Sigma, P&IDs, and process diagrams
Managerial & Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- Financial acumen and cost control expertise
- Resilience under pressure and dynamic environments
