Aditya Birla Group, a global leader in chemicals and a Fortune 500 company, is actively seeking a highly skilled Team Lead Power Plant Instrumentation to join our team as a Manager. This pivotal role involves facilitating integrated and optimized processes and technology for our Captive Power Plant (CPP) project to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the instrumentation function.
We operate our chemicals business with a strong commitment to operational excellence and are looking for a dedicated professional for our Vilayat facility in Bharuch, Gujarat.

Role & Responsibilities
As the Team Lead for Power Plant Instrumentation, you will focus on project initiatives and technical resolution:
Strategic Project- Pre-Procurement:
1.Finalizing technical specification of all C&I the package's with consultant
2. Resolving all technical clarification with all the bidders for different packages of C&I to expedite the submission of Techno-commercial offer.
3. Preparation of RFQ, Technical Recommendation, review of TBE submitted by consultant, Coordination with the procurement team to place all the orders within stipulated timeline and well within approved budget. Impact/Outcome: Ordering of all the packages as per schedule
Engineering and Execution of Captive Power Plant Projects:
1.DCS engineering, interface engineering, Engineering of CEMS and SWAS system, CCR Layout finalization. Engineering and finalization of all the filed instrument.
2. Completion of the engineering and other deliverables like Good for construction drawings to Site.
3. Define instrumentation requirements, including system. specifications, design reviews, and process control architecture
4. Project execution coordination with monthly review meeting at site including consultant, Site team and EPC contractor to bridge all the gaps among themselves in terms of scope.
5. Commissioning of the power project with DCS Vendor at site. Commissioning of the all the filed instrument. Impact/Outcome: Execution and Commissioning of the power project.
6. Implementation of all auto-loop logic, Preparation of auto loop
Safety:
1) Implementing Safety standards to achieve zero reported incident.
2.Implementating of HSE norms in Project.
3. Imparting safety related training to team including contractual
Project Execution and Coordination:
Ensuring smooth coordination between instrumentation, process teams, and other support functions to align with the overall project design and execution.
2. Supervise construction, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
3. Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure adhere to timeline and budget
Standardization of Vendors:
Standardization of Vendors for Key equipments of Power Plant, SOPs for Key equipment operation like Feed pump, CHP, Condenser, Cooling tower.
Taking IT cockpit Project help also to bring all data on same platform.
Impact/outcome: Better synergy among our power plant in Chemical business in terms of vendor performances, equipment performances and failures rate, Opex data.
Work with internal and external engineering teams for preparing equipment specifications, tender documents, and vendor evaluations.
Manage all instrumentation contractors and ensure quality and timely execution of site activities
Participate in tender bid reviews, vendor identification, and ordering processes in collaboration with the procurement team
