Position Details
Designation: Deputy Manager, Lab QA
Location: Guwahati, Assam
Experience Required: 14 to 18 Years
Qualification: M.Pharma, B.Pharma, or MSc
Key Job Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of critical QA functions:
- Ensuring cGMP compliance within the Quality Control (QC) laboratory environment.
- Reviewing all analytical documentation and approving Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) for various materials and products.
- Leading investigations into quality issues, including OOS (Out-of-Specification) results, deviations, and incidents.
- Implementing and monitoring CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Overseeing data integrity through comprehensive reviews of chromatographic (HPLC, GC) and non-chromatographic data.
- Auditing LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) audit trails for OSD sites.
- Managing manufacturer details and GRN approvals in the BLPS software system.
Required Skills & Expertise
We are looking for candidates with strong technical knowledge and soft skills:
- Technical & Functional Skills
- Regulatory Exposure: Deep understanding of ICH, WHO, USFDA, and EU guidelines.
- Analytical Techniques: Expertise in HPLC, GC, Empower, LIMS, and electronic systems compliance.
- Documentation Control: Experience in reviewing protocols, reports, and analytical documents.
- Analytical & Investigative Skills
- Root Cause Analysis: Proven ability to identify causes for quality incidents.
- Risk Assessment: Identifying and mitigating compliance risks effectively.
- Soft Skills
- Attention to Detail: Essential for data and document review.
- Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams (QC, QA, etc.).
- Time Management: Efficiently managing multiple reviews and approvals.
