Position Details

We are seeking candidates with relevant qualifications and strong technical expertise.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) from a recognized university.

Experience: Relevant post-qualification experience in a similar role within a chemical plant or heavy engineering industry, specifically involving captive power plant operations.

Technical Skills: Expertise in mechanical systems, performance monitoring, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance.

Soft Skills: Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.

Role and Responsibilities

• As an Assistant or Deputy Manager in Technical Services for the Captive Power Plant (CPP), you will be crucial to ensuring the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of the power generation facility.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of boilers, turbines, generators, and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor critical plant parameters, ensuring operational stability and adherence to design standards.
• Coordinate with field engineers during normal operations and emergencies, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
• Implement and track performance improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency, minimize fuel consumption, and reduce emissions.
• Manage maintenance schedules, conduct regular plant audits, and ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, analyze SCADA data, and support commissioning activities.
