Lubrizol Corporation, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a detail-oriented Officer - QA/QC to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Dahej, Gujarat. Role Overview

As a QA/QC Officer, you will be responsible for conducting rigorous quality control testing, supporting the Quality Management System (QMS), and driving continuous improvements in safety and operational efficiency. This role is critical in ensuring our products meet the highest global standards.

Location: Dahej, Gujarat, India (392130)

Departments: Quality Assurance & Quality Control

Qualification: Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry preferred).

Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in the chemical or polymer industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis & Testing: Perform sampling and analysis of in-process materials and finished goods during rotational shifts.
  • SOP Development: Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for analytical testing and equipment maintenance.
  • Equipment Calibration: Manage the operation and calibration of laboratory instruments (IR, Spectrometer, X-ray Spectrometer) according to standard protocols.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise QA/QC records for raw materials, additives, and final products in compliance with ISO 9001.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with service providers for the preventive maintenance of lab instruments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with plant teams to achieve site production and quality objectives.

Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, SAP QA Module, and statistical analysis tools.

Instrument Expertise: Hands-on experience with IR, Spectrometers, and X-ray Spectrometers.

Specific Skills:

  • Proven background in analytical and physical testing for polymer compounds.
  • Experience with batch operations and compounding (specifically solid/powder materials).
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory best practices and safety standards.
