Lupin is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our Biotech R&D team in Pune. This role focuses on Upstream Process Development (UST), specifically supporting cell culture media formulation and bioreactor operations. Education:
- Post Graduation (M.Sc./M.Tech) in Biotechnology.
- Master’s degree in Biochemistry.
Experience: 0 – 2 years of experience in a Biotech R&D environment. Freshers with strong academic projects in upstream processing are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Media Development: Execute cell culture media and feed formulation experiments to optimize cell growth and productivity.
- Process Development: Conduct shake flask studies to evaluate and refine cell culture processes.
- Bioreactor Management: Handle the preparation, operation, and monitoring of laboratory-scale bioreactors.
- Data Analysis: Maintain accurate documentation of experimental results and contribute to process excellence initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and team members to ensure project milestones are met with a result-oriented approach.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with aseptic techniques, cell culture handling, and basic bioreactor mechanics.
