Job Responsibilities
- As a Diploma Engineer Trainee, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to plant operations and safety:
- Safety & Compliance: Abiding by safe operating procedures, acting as a first responder to emergencies, suggesting safety improvements, and safely handling hazardous materials and plant wastes.
- Operations & Monitoring: Monitoring and controlling field equipment as per SOPs/SOCs, coordinating with shift superintendents, collecting samples for lab testing, and reporting abnormal observations promptly.
- Maintenance Support: Handover/takeover of equipment for maintenance, performing condition monitoring using portable instruments (ODR), and undertaking minor troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
- Efficiency & Improvement: Contributing towards waste reduction, operating equipment efficiently, identifying opportunities for improvement, and following management guidelines like TQM, EFQM, QCC, and 5S.
Skills & Competencies
- Commitment to good housekeeping and workplace safety.
- Ability to maintain shift logs and field logbooks.
- Focus on equipment health through LLF checks and prompt reporting of abnormalities
