Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Supply Planning Manager (PSP) to join our Global Supply Chain team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Panoli. This critical role involves managing end-to-end production and material planning for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), ensuring optimal inventory levels, and coordinating seamless dispatches. You will be instrumental in executing strategic supply chain initiatives, including site transfers and business continuity plans, within a global function.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Plant Supply Planning Manager, your primary areas of responsibility will include:
- Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed production schedules for commercial, launch, and filling operations. Optimize capacity utilization and align planning with budgetary goals.
- Material Planning & Inventory Management: Oversee material planning, campaign planning, and implement strategies for inventory optimization and management of intermediates.
- S&OP Support: Provide robust data management and analytical support for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Logistics & Dispatch Coordination: Coordinate all weekly dispatches, track raw materials (RM), and manage the API/SFG submission reports (MIS).
- Strategic Initiatives: Drive implementation of business continuity plans (e.g., OS to IH transfers), site transfers for APIs and intermediates, AVD plans, and product internalization projects.
- Master Data Management: Ensure accuracy and integrity of all supply chain master data within ERP/SAP systems.
Job Requirements
Qualification: B. Tech Chemical Engineering or MBA in Supply Chain Management.Specific certification in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
Experience: 8-10 years of proven experience in supply chain planning, preferably within the pharmaceutical or API manufacturing industry.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in SAP and other major ERP systems, advanced MS Excel skills, and general MS Office suite knowledge.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage complex internal interactions (Procurement, R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs).
