Job Location: Plasma Fractionation Centre, Ahmedabad

Position: Manager - Purchase

Qualification: Bachelor’s / Masters degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)

Experience: 10 - 15 Years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in indirect procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

• Develop and execute the indirect procurement strategy aligned with business goals. 

• Lead a team of procurement professionals.

• Drive digital transformation in procurement processes.

Category Management:

• Oversee sourcing for indirect categories including IT, marketing, facilities, logistics, and professional services.

• Implement category strategies to deliver cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier innovation.

Supplier & Contract Management:

• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationship.

• Negotiate high-value contracts ensuring favourable terms and compliance.

• Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to understand procurement needs.

• Ensure procurement policies and practices support business operations and compliance.

Governance & Compliance:

• Ensure procurement activities comply with internal polices and external regulations (e.g GxP, audit requirements).

• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audits and internal reviews.

Performance & Reporting:

• Track and report procurement performance metrics including savings, efficiency and supplier performance.

• Present procurement insights and forecasts to senior leadership.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Knowledge of procurement systems (SAP or equivalent is must).

• Certification such as CPSM, CIPS, or PMP are a plus.

• Preference will be given to those who is having experience in Biotech / Pharmaceutical (Injectable)
