Key Responsibilities
✅ Greenfield & Brownfield Project Execution
• Review project plans, cost estimates and support approvals with technical data
• Prepare detailed schedules aligned to execution sequence (facility completion, IQ/OQ, commissioning, closeout)
✅ Project Design & Implementation
• Facility design as per statutory and user requirements (layout, quantities, capacities)
• Equipment specifications preparation and stakeholder approvals
• Drive cross-functional alignment meetings for smooth project detailing
✅ Quality, Compliance & Safety
• Ensure mechanical systems meet quality and safety standards
• Conduct inspections, audits, testing and compliance documentation
✅ Vendor & Stakeholder Management
• Coordinate with suppliers/contractors/consultants for selection & technical clarifications
• Evaluate proposals and ensure technical compliance
• Work closely with Electrical, Civil, Production, Operations & Quality teams
✅ Documentation & Qualification
• Strong knowledge of engineering documentation and qualifications: DQ / IQ / OQ (equipment, systems & facility)
✅ Commissioning & Project Closeout
• Support audit coordination (internal/external)
• Prepare and implement action plans to close observations
• Ensure capitalization of budget and asset creation for project closure
✅ Leadership & Mentoring
• Lead mechanical engineering teams on complex projects
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee capability development
✅ Contractor Workforce Management
• Guide and monitor skilled/semi-skilled/unskilled contract labor
• Ensure safety compliance and execution quality
