Key Skills / Job Description
- Technology transfer from R&D to kilo lab to commercial production
- Coordination with R&D teams for demo batch execution and process understanding
- Preparation of Basic Engineering Design Packages (PFD, P&ID, Heat & Material Balance)
- Equipment sizing, line size calculations, and utility/process equipment selection
- Cost reduction, troubleshooting, and process optimization
- Fitment of new products in existing manufacturing facilities
- Assess equipment suitability for pilot & production scale
- Preparation of weekly/monthly progress reports
- Improve solvent recovery through distillation efficiency studies
- Supervise and manage Officers and Chemists
- API process improvement and scale-up support
