Key Skills / Job Description:
Final product inspection of solar cells and modules, IV testing, Electroluminescence (EL) testing, defect identification and reporting, FQA and OQC activities, trace ID generation, SAP D.O clearance, customer quality support, RCA, benchmarking, documentation, process improvement, NPD trials, coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Roles and Responsibilities
- Safety and Compliance
- Follow and promote safety guidelines during inspections and quality checks
- Ensure a safe working environment across quality operations
- Final Product Inspections
- Conduct final inspections during assigned shifts
- Perform IV testing and EL testing to ensure solar cells meet quality standards
- Identify and document defects
- Quality Monitoring and Reporting
- Report inspection issues to Cluster Manager – FQA
- Support corrective and preventive action implementation
- Traceability and Print Logic
- Generate Trace ID as per BOM for product tracking
- Prepare print logic for labels based on cell characteristics such as ETA, grade, and color
- PSI & OQC:
- Pre-shipment inspection of Cells and verification of transportation conditions to ensure product reaches customer end safely. Further, clearance of D.O in SAP and maintaining inspection records.
- Customer Quality Support
- Visit module lines for product-related issues
- Collect defective samples and data
- Participate in RCA and improvement actions
- Share corrective actions with customers
- Benchmarking and Product ImprovementBenchmark competitor solar cells
- Documentation and Training
- Maintain accurate inspection records
- Support training of QA and OQC team members
- Process Improvement
- Participate in initiatives to improve product reliability, quality, and efficiency
