Key Skills / Job Description:

• Abide by safe operating procedures within operating range
• Act as first responder to emergencies
• Suggest and implement safety improvements
• Safe handling of hazardous materials and plant waste
• Contribution to housekeeping activities
• Support contract workmen on safe working practices
• Monitor and control field equipment as per SOPs, SOCs, LLF checklist, and ODR instruments
• Coordinate with shift superintendent and panel executive
• Collect and deliver samples for laboratory testing
• Report abnormal observations to shift engineer or panel executive
• Handover and takeover of equipment from maintenanc
• Perform condition monitoring using portable instruments (ODR)
• Perform minor troubleshooting and minor maintenance
• Contribute to waste reduction and chemical handling
• Operate equipment efficiently
• Identify and suggest process improvement opportunities
• Follow safety and management guidelines such as TQM, EFQM, QCC, 5S
• Maintain shift logs for assigned equipment and area
• Follow instructions from shift superintendent, engineer, or panel officer
• Member of Auxiliary Fire Squad
