Key skill or job description:
- Observe process in the laboratory or review the technology transfer document which is received from R&D/ PD lab.
- Prepare a Block flow diagram.
- Check the availability of equipment in existing facility.
- In case if any new equipment / Instrument required location for the same to be identified and installation feasibility to be check then process data sheet to be prepare for the equipment like reactor, centrifuge, heat exchanger, control valve, distillation column etc.
- Check the integrity of available equipment in existing plant with respect to new process.
- Material balance & batch sizing then perform energy balance & batch cycle time calculation.
- Prepare a P&ID, DOP, interlocks list, critical alarm list.
- Do the HAZOP of process.
- Update the P&ID, DOP, interlocks list and alarm list etc. as per HAZOP recommendation.
- Actively participated in the PSSR process; collaborated with cross-functional teams to verify that all equipment, procedures, and training met safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor commissioning of plant batches.
- Responsible for product change over, capacity enhancement and process debottlenecking etc.
- Responsible for utility load calculation and Pump hydraulic calculations.
- Technical support in procurement and vendor finalization.
- Overseeing on project management activities, coordination with R&D and concern engineering department.
- Scrubber System Design along with Proper Calculations.
- Heat Exchange/PHE Requirement Calculations.
- Distillation column Hydraulics Calculations.
- New Product & Running Product Thermotical Norms Calculations.
- Responsible for Plant medication/New Product Development & Existing Product Process Change.
- Responsible for find out Cost Saving Opportunities.
Who Can Apply
Professional candidates holding a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in process engineering are eligible. If you have a strong background in P&ID preparation, HAZOP processes, and equipment installation feasibility, this role is for you.
