Key skill or job description: Position Overview: Ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations of the Nitrocellulose manufacturing unit at the Dahej plant. Requires deep technical expertise. Strong Exposure to: Nitrocellulose plant operations, Nitration process, Solvent handling, Utilities management, Statutory compliance. Proven Experience in Handling: Flammable and explosive materials, Wet NC processing, Drying and storage systems.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end operations of the Nitrocellulose production unit
- Ensure process safety, statutory compliance & environmental standards
- Drive production efficiency, quality, and cost optimization
- Manage manpower, shift operations, and cross-functional coordination
- Handle incident investigations & implement CAPA
- Maintain SOPs, logs, and safety documentation
- Collaborate with Maintenance, EHS, Quality & Utilities teams
