Qualification: B.Sc. + Post Graduation in Fire & Safety

Work Location: Exemed Pharmaceuticals, Luna (Padra), Vadodara, Gujarat

Key Skill or Job Description:

Ensure implementation and compliance of EHS policies, procedures and legal/regulatory requirements as per Pharmaceuticals standards.

Conduct risk assessment, job safety analysis (JSA) and implement control measures.

Ensure adherence to GMP, cGMP, ISO standards and regulatory norms related to safety.

Conduct safety training, toolbox talks and awareness programs for all employees.

Investigate incidents, near misses and recommend corrective & preventive actions.

Implement and manage fire safety systems, mock drills and emergency preparedness.

Monitor PPE compliance, housekeeping, waste management and safe work practices.

Maintain EHS records, statutory registers and ensure timely reporting.

Liaise with statutory authorities for inspections, audits and certifications.

Promote a culture of safety, health and environmental responsibility across the organization.

Requirements

B.Sc. with Post Graduation / Diploma in Fire & Safety.

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical / API Industry.

Good knowledge of safety laws, GMP and regulatory compliance.

Strong communication, reporting and training skills.

Proficient in MS Office.
