Designation: Process Operator / Operator (Chemical)

Qualification: Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology

Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: 18–25 years as on 01 July 2026.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates shall be as per Presidential / Government Directives.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess the prescribed Diploma obtained through a full-time regular course approved by AICTE.
- Minimum Marks: Minimum 60% aggregate marks for UR, EWS & OBC (NCL) candidates and 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved vacancies.
- Experience: The cut-off date for reckoning the prescribed experience shall be 01 July 2026.
Selection Process
BPCL selection methodology will comprise three stages:
Stage One: Computer Based Test
The Computer Based Test will consist of 100 questions of 1 mark each, with a duration of 120 minutes.
Stage Two: Skill Proficiency Test (SPT)
Candidates qualifying in the written test as per the cut-off marks decided by the Corporation will be called for the Skill Proficiency Test.
Stage Three: Pre-Employment Medical Examination
Final appointment of candidates will be subject to meeting the required medical fitness norms and standards as per BPCL Pre-Employment Medical Examination.
BPCL reserves the right to modify the selection process if required.
