Key Skill or Job Description:
- Upstream Manufacturing (Mammalian Suite)
- Strong understanding of upstream manufacturing processes involving mammalian cell culture of monoclonal antibodies and drug substance production.
- Assemble, prepare, install and test single-use Bioreactor and all other single use assemblies will be an added advantage.
- Able to perform cell expansion, media preparation, aseptic processing, bioreactor operation, process monitoring.
- Upstream Manufacturing (Microbial Suite)
- Strong understanding of upstream manufacturing processes involving microbial fermentation and drug substance production.
- Knowledge of microbial culture handling, media preparation, inoculum development, fermentation process monitoring, harvest operations, and associated upstream unit operations.
- Downstream Manufacturing (Mammalian Suite)
- Knowledge of monoclonal antibody (mAb) downstream processing including harvest and clarification, depth filtration, chromatography purification (Protein A, Ion Exchange and other polishing steps), viral clearance operations, tangential flow filtration (UF/DF), bulk drug substance handling, formulation and associated downstream unit operations within a cGMP manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with chromatography skids such as Cytiva ÄKTA, Merck, Sartorius or equivalent purification platforms.
- Downstream Manufacturing (Microbial Suite)
- Strong understanding of downstream manufacturing processes involving microbial fermentation and drug substance production.
- Strong Knowledge on protein chemistry, Dissolution/refolding, buffer preparation, purification, precipitation/crystallization.
