Designation: Field Executive – PCCS
Experience: Up to 3 Years
Qualification: Diploma in Chemical Engineering
Work Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat
Key Skill or Job Description:
- Conduct day-to-day field operations by following SOPs, SOCs and company procedures.
- Identify equipment abnormalities through Look, Listen and Feel (LLF) and report equipment performance issues.
- Monitor and control field equipment as per SOPs, SOCs and checklists.
- Support the Shift Superintendent in monitoring process parameters and resolving process-related issues.
- Perform equipment handover and takeover while following PTW and LOTO procedures.
- Collect and deliver process samples for laboratory testing.
- Perform gas testing including LEL and Oxygen level using portable instruments.
- Maintain shift logbooks and operational records.
- Manage inventory of logbooks, formats, spares and consumables.
- Maintain housekeeping, hazardous waste segregation and fire & safety equipment.
- Act as a First Responder during emergencies and participate in the Auxiliary Fire Squad.
- Understand rotary machine seal systems and seal pot parameters.
- Monitor lubrication systems of compressors including temperature, pressure and flow.
- Check LO/LC valve status.
- Identify field locations of plant instruments.
- Support toolbox talks and risk assessments before job execution.
- Report near misses and follow process safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IMS, ISO, TQM, OMS, PSM, QCC and 5S systems.
- Follow LOTO, Nitrogen Gas Safety and Line Break procedures.
