Key Skill or Job Description:
- Monitor and support pilot / plant-scale batch execution for API and intermediate processes, ensuring adherence to approved process parameters and batch procedures.
- Execute process trials and batches in cylindrical and lab-mimic reactors to evaluate process performance and generate scale-up data.
- Monitor and record critical process parameters — temperature, pressure, pH, addition rate, agitation, gas flow, vacuum, reaction time, solvent conditions and reaction completion.
- Conduct and document lab-scale and cylindrical reactor trials to understand process behavior and validate critical process parameters before plant-scale execution.
- Evaluate scale-up and scale-down challenges and provide technically sound recommendations for successful transfer and execution at pilot / plant scale.
- Provide on-floor technical support during pilot and commercial batch execution, and promptly escalate critical process or safety concerns.
