1) Trainee Scientist – R&D Biotech
Department: Research and Development (R&D) – Biotech
Qualification: M.Sc. Organic Chemistry
Experience: Fresher to 1 year
Job Location: Nerul, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra
Job Type: Full-time, shift basis
Gender Preference: Male candidates preferred due to shift-working requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in pilot-plant process activities, including acid/alkali reactions, CIP of reactors, filter assemblies and distillation units under supervision.
- Support R&D trials, batch preparation and documentation of experimental results.
- Operate and assist with HPLC, GLC, pH meters and moisture analysers under guidance.
- Carry out process sampling, record observations and maintain batch sheets and laboratory notebooks.
- Support raw material indenting and maintenance/breakdown activities for pilot-plant equipment.
- Follow SOPs and protocols accurately and escalate deviations.
- Compile batch and trial results and support report preparation.
- Assist in technology investigation, process improvement and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with pilot-plant, R&D and technology teams.
- Maintain records, housekeeping and GMP standards.
