Job Responsibilities
1. Perform plant equipment and facility operations to support safe and smooth production.
2. Follow company policies, processes, standard operating procedures and shift instructions.
3. Monitor field equipment, identify equipment performance issues and report them.
4. Monitor process parameters and coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve issues.
5. Follow equipment handover and takeover procedures, including PTW and LOTO requirements.
6. Collect and deliver field samples for laboratory testing and conduct gas testing for LEL and oxygen levels using portable instruments.
7. Maintain shift logs and records of site operations, and manage logbooks, formats, spares and consumables.
8. Maintain plant housekeeping, handle hazardous materials properly, segregate waste and maintain fire and safety equipment.
9. Respond to field emergencies and participate in the Auxiliary Fire Squad.
10. Understand rotary machine seal systems, seal pot level and pressure, compressor lubrication systems, and LO/LC valve status.
11. Identify field instruments and understand their locations.
12. Support risk assessments and conduct toolbox talks before job execution.
13. Follow process safety procedures to reduce process failures, accidents and injuries.
14. Identify, document and report near-miss incidents and unsafe conditions.
15. Follow applicable safety and management systems, including IMS, ISO, TQM, OMS, PSM, QCC and 5S, along with LOTO, nitrogen gas safety and line-break procedures.
