Reports To: GM – Production/Operations

Key Skills and Job Responsibilities

• Lead production planning, batch manufacturing, manpower deployment and plant operations to achieve targets.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, BMRs, process parameters, GMP/QMS requirements and applicable ISO standards.
• Drive ISO 9001/14001/45001 compliance, internal/external audits, CAPA, deviation, change control and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, statutory and process safety requirements, including PTW, LOTO, HIRA/JSA and MOC.
• Monitor and improve yield, productivity, cycle time, RM/solvent consumption, utilities, downtime and manufacturing cost.
• Lead troubleshooting, debottlenecking, process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support and lead production activities for Greenfield/Brownfield projects, plant expansion, commissioning, scale-up and technology transfer.
• Coordinate with R&D, QA/QC, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Stores, Planning and Dispatch.
• Lead and develop Production Managers, Shift In-charges, Engineers, Supervisors and Operators.
• Prepare and review production MIS, KPIs and management reports, ensuring timely closure of deviations and improvement actions.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Production Target, Cost, EHS, Yield & Productivity, Quality, Cycle Time, Downtime, ISO/Audit Compliance, CAPA Closure, Project Execution and Continuous Improvement.

Job Purpose

• Lead end-to-end plant production operations to achieve production, quality, yield, cost, delivery, EHS and compliance objectives.
• Drive process improvement, ISO compliance, audits and Greenfield/Brownfield projects.
