Location: Bharat Biotech, Hyderabad

Experience: 3 to 7 Years

Department: Engineering & Maintenance

1. Bioprocess Maintenance – Upstream/Downstream Equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot upstream (fermenters, bioreactors) and downstream (centrifuges, filtration systems) processing equipment.
• Ensure timely calibration and preventive maintenance of all bioprocess equipment.
• Collaborate with production and validation teams for equipment readiness.
• Maintain records and documentation as per GMP guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for better reliability and efficiency.

Skills & Requirements:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Biotech Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with bioprocess equipment in vaccine or biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of utility systems, CIP/SIP processes, and documentation practices.

2. Process Maintenance – Production Equipment (Formulation, Filling, Packing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain equipment used in formulation, vial washing, filling, sealing, and visual inspection.
• Identify and resolve breakdowns with minimum downtime.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for technical issues and spare management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and regulatory standards.

Skills & Requirements:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
• Prior experience in injectable/sterile manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, equipment validation, and cleanroom maintenance.
