Education: Diploma in Chemical Engineering with a strong academic record.
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in plant operations, specifically working with hazardous chemicals and DCS systems.
Job Summary
Lubrizol Corporation is looking for a detail-oriented Production Executive to join our team in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai. In this role, you will follow established procedures to operate process units, manage the loading and unloading of storage tanks, and ensure the high-quality manufacture of chemical products. You will be responsible for maintaining safety standards, managing DCS operations, and ensuring seamless production data entry within our SAP system.
Key Responsibilities
- Unit Operations: Safely operate industrial equipment and manufacture chemical products using batch sheet instructions and DCS operation.
- Logistics & Sampling: Handle the loading, unloading, and sampling of material containers, including tank trucks and drums.
- Data Management: Track process information and perform accurate production data entry into the SAP (ERP) system.
- Maintenance Coordination: Issue work memos, prepare equipment for maintenance, and perform minor repairs such as leak fixes and oil top-ups.
- Safety & Compliance: Participate in the plant emergency response team (Rescue Squad) and lead safety audits and JSA preparations.
- Process Optimization: Report deviations, troubleshoot equipment root causes, and suggest process improvements to boost efficiency.
Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and awareness of P&IDs and preventive maintenance programs.
Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of hazardous materials, MSDS, and JSA protocols.
Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
